The trip to the creation of books began Goodword long before the humble attempt of the eminent Islamic scholar Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, who early in his life he felt the desire to express their ideas in creating positive Islamic Center in New Delhi in 1970. The Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, who was already a renowned researcher at the time and had published numerous articles in various journals and newspapers, felt the need to reach receptive minds of the people on the message of love of peace of Islam – and thus promote communal harmony and peaceful coexistence between different communities. And so to shape their ideas, launched its first publication, Al-Risala Urdu, 1976, which was then published in Hindi and English. The magazine, which contains almost entirely self-written articles, has quickly gained wide coverage in all Urdu-speaking world. The magazine did much to arouse the Muslims a new awareness of social responsibility. This began the long and still being written by Maulana Wahiduddin Khan's career. And so it came Goodword Books in stock, which was originally published mainly Maulana own books and books later written by other distinguished scholars. Maulana tireless efforts to present the peace message of love Islam cut ice with the Muslim majority who read his books with great interest.
